Yes guys, i've done got a little route planned and we could do it tomorrow night-'something's goign down'!
What with the ice and the perishing cold, I've opted for a shorter roll with the opportunies for a pub stop, supermarket visit and hot coffee spot en-route. So it's better described as London Lights Lite compared to Pajama's full Xmas splurge with all the trimmings of yesteryear.
Only thing is, most of the civic lightshows switch off by midnight, so this would really need to start at 8.30 and from *Trafalgar Square . I'm aiming for 4 .5 hours duration*, finishing at Parliament Square for 1.00,
I have a couple of alternatives built in to the plan, so we could also end at Brick Lane beigels, earlier or later, for example.I'm reccy-ing some tweaks tonight, so I'll catch with responses later on.
Of course if there is significant ice and treachery tomorrow then I won't be into anything other than a quick pub jaunt. But I've got a pub in mind.

Fucks sake I was well up for this but some Dutch bint managed to do a running headbutt into my shoulder this evening. Who runs(!) out further into a road while looking the opposite way to the traffic when someone shouts STOP!!!! at them?
Anyway, she came off worse (her faceand I managed to stay upright.
However my shoulder and upper arm is pretty bruised (I think I can make out a tooth mark in one place) and cycling tomorrow won't be happening.Sorry about that, rant over.
Enjoy the chilly fun!

does the Metcheck link update? I'm sure it must do, and I'm sure this must be the reason why spybot reads this as a "snowfest", and I read it as a dry day and night.
however…
If you sellect thursday it ain't so dry:

I'm out. Lack of courage plus easilyfrozenfingertipsdespitewearing2pairsofglovesRaynaud means I'll crawl/cycle home and stay there. Have fun those who make it. Aiming for the waifs and strays ride instead.

yeah, it updates fairly regularly, although its accuracy has been variable the past couple of days. Looking like limited snow this afternoon and clear this evening.
