unfortunate and understandable dude.. Get your back looked at if it's really bad. Physio can do wonders for you.

guys - i'm not dying, it's just I've had a week or two of pulled back muscles, painful as i'm sure a lot of you know that can be. thanks anyway but the only thing that's really wrong is the timing. i'm regretting saying anything now, but i had to call it. anyway.. there you go.

^ so basically what you're saying is that your pain in the back is a pain in the arse.
Rest with gentle exersice usually does it for me. (Actually I could use that for my life maxim)
-

What about putting it back by 2/3 weeks? Mulled wine stop somewhere en route?
-
• #112
2-3 weeks puts it dangerously close to a certain Christian hi-jacked pagan winter festival.
Also, the greenwich foot tunnel is going to be closed throughout the whole period anyway which is a big stumbling block :S

I'm officially volunteering to oil you up and rub your back Phil.
That'll sort it!

Sad face.
Who's up for another ride instead. Just a big fuck off forum ride, with the 100 odd people who wanted to do this.
We'll ride it critical mass style with whoever is at the front calling the shots.
Same meeting place, same time.

Oh, and can we get the thread title changed so people know about the problem?
-
• #117
Can't we just go up and down Oxford Street looking at the lights?
-
• #118

I'm officially volunteering to oil you up and rub your back Phil.

At south easts now, veLLo and I are still up for a ride. How about a bridges ride route that rolls up Regent street? Or a west to east that rolls down regent street and stops in Tron square?
Or a bridges-lights-compass beers ride (in tweed). Put us on the list anyway...
-
• #124
yeah, Tron square!

I'll be up for this. I have an event at work which should finish on time to arrive for the original start time of 11pm, but where to go and what to do etc.....
the back is just making things a lot more uncertain, if it wasn't for the back I'd be getting out there working things out no problem. My back might be fine within a few days - in fact I'll be going out of my mind if it isn't - but if it isn't right and I would be wincing through three or four hours of riding then when exactly do I post up to say i can't do the ride? I've got a feeling I wouldn't be too popular if I cancelled the night before. Anyway, lame on all counts.
I'd like to say I'll let you know by this time next week but people have to organise their lives, especially around this time of year.
