Have stumbled across some 2 speed hubs(sram something and sturmey s2) both shift up/down by themselves. The idea seems kinda cool and if it shifts up/down at a reasonable speed could be really useful against hills while still not having to sod about with derailers and extra wires and stuff.
So yeah anyone used one?

I saw a system posted ere that had two speed in the bb, you'd have to stop to change as It was fixed. I thought that was pretty slick

These are both hub systems that switch at a certain rpm/speed/whatever.
