You're forgetting Sanfords Loops are inadmissable after the Southward equinox. You'll have to retreat to Grange Hill.
-
• #428
Correct me if I'm wrong, but that's a four square (1946 Kuala Lumpur) and in which case, Chancery Lane.
-
• #429
Chancery lane...
nice.
Tricky, but what would you say to a tanigholst over to Barbican? -
• #430
Sanfords are OK to stop a wildcat strike which was imminent with a Berkowitz so close to the river.
Anyway the Grange Hill hand off doesn't affect my game plant and I'm going to apostrophe up at Earl's Court and declare a relevant theory.

I would like to jump in at Arnos Grove, playing my Coopers early and jumping right across to the Victoria Line Station of Finsbury Park. I assume we are playing the Johnson/Crawley amendments c1978, giving me a free turn on each fifth turn as playing the Coopers on the first go permits?
-
• #432
Actually considering both piccalilli and Berkowitz in the same round we're shunted to the Crawley/Johnson amendments which means you must omit the royal flush station cluster on each free turn and whenever a waterway is crossed on the turn two previous to yours. Playing your Coopers so early should pay off given the looks of this game so far.
I however am putting in a conservative lateral to West Finchley to enable a 'Shakey Jakey' setup for the turns after until a DLR juncture-ban is invoked. -
• #433
Far too late in the day to be playing a conservative lateral, given the Clentador masquerade used at #176. Let's toss in Stepney Green

A finagle to Stepney Green...
...Let's toss in Stepney Green
Carmichael's replay in Zone 2.
I'm claiming my double hand now with Euston and Camden Town.
Reach for the rulebooks kids, there's only one way to stop me now. Handy hint, it won't be found in the '53 Carsbrook edition or the one we can't talk about.

Oliver, the best place to get the most recent rules is in pedestrian tunnel three at Bank although you'll need a roll over shunt and short switch to get there, it'll probably cost you the game.
You must think I'm a complete amateur who doesn't recognise the Mornington Crescent equivalent of sending someone out for a long weight.

Reading through all of this, I was amazed no-one had spotted Humphrey's second derivative; every play since Morden has been on suspended ratification. Might as well head back to parsons green and try to work it sideways from there, at least I'll get some points to go towards the Myford indices, which have been neglected of late.
-
• #437
what would you say then to Fairlop?
BOOM!
-
• #438
according to the ....
argyle street parabola
This variation allows for a maximum of two nudges but only if the run of play is with the poke holder.you can't have fairlop

As it's the 2nd Thursday of the month, I am moving to Cockfosters for a refit, allowing me to cross the water when otherwise blocked by the 'Simpkins'.

I can't believe you're still playing this stupid game. I thought everybody was playing Shepherd's Bush Market now? If you haven't heard about it--it's like a turbocharged MC, but with pom-poms.

SBM is an indoor pursuit.
This current batch of nice weather facilitates accuracy (even from range) for a more spectator-friendly Mornington Crescent. -

Left two-two Ruislip.
I'm not going to let anyone complete a Berkowitz on my watch. A finagle to Stepney Green will knock that one off and also complete a Sanfords Loop.
