Looks ok agreed, hoping to learn they perform well!

Haha, i'd love to see that thing try and navigate the underground. Obliterating everyone as it falls down the escalators at Brixton, for example.

You're missing an 'a' from the end of your link.
In other news, that's absolutely bonkers.

Oops. Fix-ed.

Anyone tried the Restrap Rando bag yet? The one that's held on by #magnets?
Looks pretty good, but can never tell how 'sturdy' they are from the photos.

Pretty damn sturdy, I’ve done a lot of miles and varied riding with both small and large sizes and both hold up well. Magnetic fixing is a game changer.

will it work on a smaller rando rack like Nitto M18?
-
• #388
It will work, but you’ll have the adaptor plate protruding on either side of the rack. Depends if you’ll be using the bag all/most of the time, and if not whether the plate will bother you.

Anyone looking to sell a set of front & rear panniers? Sick of trawling eBay only to be outbid repeatedly :(

Price range?

I've got a pair of Vaude Discovery Pro (34L) I could part with. Only used them for a week years ago. Let me know if you are interested and I'll work out a price.

Good to know. I ended up with a pizza bag (as its on a pizza rack), seems all good.
But think I would defo consider the restrap rando in the future maybe.

Any advice on a front rack / bag combo to use to take our tiny 4kg dog on trips in town with us? Would need to be mounted onto carbon Ribble fork
-
• #394
Haven't used them in earnest yet but very pleased with the quality and finish for the price!

The stacking crates from supermarkets are great, holes in the bottom so you can cable tie it in place.
Whether a rack would fit at all depends on the shape of your dropout. If you can fit the adapter for a Pelago rack then you'll be fine. -

I thought racks and carbon forks weren't a good mix?
-
• #397
Not for midblade mounts, probably not (unless they're explicitly rated).
I was suggesting a porteur style where the load goes down to the axle straight away. -

Does anyone other than Carradice themselves sell these bars since they're out of stock right now? Had a quick Google and can't seem to find them:
https://www.carradice.co.uk/products/accessories/pannier-hook-adapter-bar-singleMy rack is a little over 14mm so could just buy another brand as I know Ortlieb fits up to 16mm as standard, but I liked the look of the Super C stuff for my bike. Might just have to check with Carradice and wait for new stock I guess.

SJS carry loads of carradice spares worth checking with them

Yeah they were my first thought but I looked through all their Carradice spares and couldn't see those bars unless I'm just losing it and scrolled past them. Might ring them on my lunch break to have a check.
Has anybody got a top tube frame bag lying around they would consider letting go? Alpkit analoko type/style. I though it was worth asking here before i post in the classifieds.
