  • Top ride all! Thanks MA3K.. Nice to see ChainBreaker get his fall in early on the ride (think it was 3 minutes)
    Just saw this... You bastard;-)

  • … forgot to say, best espresso I've had in ages at LMNH

  • Good stuff all, cheers MA3K. Splinter up Swains was tops, other highlights were the people exercising in Finsbury Park, the scary woman on the muddy bit and seeing CB fall off. Top work.

    Scary woman... Still scared.

Close my eyes... There she is.

    We aim to please!

  • Thanks for organising this Mack, was a really good ride. Felt so nice to break out the fixie/zipp again too.

  • The route is here: [ame]http://www.bikemap.net/route/733459[/ame]

    Thanks for coming.

  • Gutted, missed it due to my old flatmate feeling the need to call me at 4am to tell me all of his woes. Hopefully be able to get to one of the next ones.

  • Greetings folks,
I really enjoyed that ride. It had it all. Canals, trainspotting at Paddington. Celebrity spotting at Camden - David Milliband. Great views - Primrose Hill. Cyclocross - abandoned railway track after Highgate.
Lovely crowd, nice riding with you all.
Give thanks John for another great ride - respect to the Ma3k-imum.
    Peace and Love,
    Tim

  • Don't forget suicide bridge..

  • Should have come but was really hung over. The ride dose go about 30seconds from my house though.

  • ^+1
4 day benders are bad news for riding.

  • @PGM you let yourself down and you let north drinks down.

I was out til 03:00 on Sat night, drank copious amounts of Jack Daniels (and did other things that will not be mentioned) and still got up at 07:30 to do South Londons hills with Damo, then straight to Ride North.

That's how we roll down south...

  • And as for you, Katie...

I'm envious that you did both Joe, I'd already discounted the possibility thinking we'd finish South London hills later than we did.

    North London derby+Jason+Big Red= Broken......

You shoulda come, Fox... Was a really good ride. By 11am I had a Red Stripe in my hand courtsey of MA3K and a cigarette courtesy of quaddie. Good work team!

  • The only sad news is the mud that got stuck in my brakes have scratched the shit out of my ceramic braking surface and the metal is now showing... Fuck... There goes my all black rims :-(

    so sad right now...

  • guess that £200 brake is pretty useless now then.

  • black permanent marker should do the trick

  • or I have been known to be rather nifty with a spray can!
ps one more post and im up to 1000

  • guess that £200 brake is pretty useless now then.
Huh? You are a fool... (said with love)

The brake isnt 200 and it still works so its not useless..

black permanent marker should do the trick
    Good idea!

  • Call that north?
    Call them hills?
Had to miss this as I was rolling through Shropshire with my Brompton.
On a train of course. I'm not that daft. Hills are for looking at, not riding up.

  • Brilliant ride. Great to meet cafewanda and see loads of familiar faces. Could have easily stayed at The Flask for food - we really need to have more rides that involve eating.

Going to need to rethink my drink-beer-all-day strategy. It was fun at the time but made me very sleepy at the end of the ride.
