I'll definitely be following with interest.
It's actually a brilliant race to go watch - lounging around with cerveza and tapas all afternoon until the race comes through, cheering and clapping for a bit, then back to the beer! I went in 2002 - watched Cipollini duking it out with Zabel in Malaga.
It's cheap to fly there, cheap to stay and the weather is great. What's not to like?
List?

A British rider wins green for the first time, will the press milk this as they should?
They're missing a trick if a big deal isn't made of this, Cav should be a household name by the end of the week.

does this mean australia are world champion now?

You'll find most people who ride fixies in London are 'brill/up to the standered of the guys in the tour', but don't get the right buzz off the pro cyclist drugs, and wouldn't want to spend 5 hours a day without decent wi-fi. It's just a matter of priorities.
You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to BringMeMyFix again.

Fuck. Yes.
We actually stayed right in the Sierra Nevadas, Pampanierra near Orgiva. Pretty barren and remote, to be honest, but spectacular. Wish I'd had a bike with me, but it would need some serious gears around there!

(actually well worth watching)I have a copy of this if anyone wants to watch - it is sheer class. Why did I screen it two months ago though!? face palm
I'm going to resist the urge to comment on Greenracer as enough threads have been ruined by the speculation already.

I've stayed in and around Andalucia for years and this is the first time i'm bringing my bike with me... I'm a bit hesitant but i'm going to try a couple of really early morning rides to see how i cope with hills in a much hotter environment than i'm used to.
Only thing left is to work out how to get to and from the Sierra Navada ski resort without the hire car. Not sure I want to be the designated driver!

Did the relationship extend beyond that test?
Evans worked with Aldo Sassi since he joined Mapei (he started his road career with Saeco) in 2002, and there's no doubting Sassi's credibility.
