I am 100% sure this has been asked in the past, but where could I see what bikes and components the teams use?
TourTech on Roadcc is good for that.

Poached salmon in home made parsley sauce, new potatoes, broccoli and carrots.
Followed by a bun.
The bun addition at the end made me do a laugh.
It also reminded of of Stewart Lee's bit about how all northern towns have a bun (or was it cake?) named after them.

Like a Pudsey bun?
(A Pudsey Bun - a dog shit is placed in a bag, the bag is placed outside a neighbour's door, the bag is set on fire, the door is knocked, the perps run away, watch from a distance as neighbour stamps out the fire with disastrous results.)

One of the Procycling journalists was on twitter this week saying that every Dutch journalist he's spoken to this week has raised their eyebrows when asked about Hoogerland.
Maybe they were doing Roger Moore impressions?

Is it ok to like Tommy Martins?

• #1961
I don't. There's a 25 mile downhill run to the finish, so any gap created on the climb will be easy to close on the descent.
Stage 9 in 2009 and stage 16 in 2010 had similar profiles and neither saw any moves by GC contenders.
I'm thinking that Cunego might try and make a gap on the decent, not the climb.
The Schlecks are sketchy descenders, same for Basso. Contador is ok, as is Voeckler.
Cunego could try and force a split in the group of favourites, taking three or four good descenders and force a gap, then hold off the bunch with a bit of through-and-off to the finish.

Hopefully someone will give it a go on the descent. Vanendert and Gilbert got nothing to lose by attacking again today and both looked good going downhill yesterday.

If you're not achieving this level of bunnage you're not trying hard enough…
(our club has a 'bring a bun' policy when we watch the major races, this was for P-R)

I am concerned about that use of the singular. How does one bun help? Buns should only be brought in multiples.

I like the cloud of spunk on the 'Z' bun. Bagsy not get that one.

I saw some of Chasing Legends last night, the controversy surrounding Hincapie's failure to get the yellow jersey. What a fucking crybaby that man is, it's a bike race, not a fucking testimonial.
What wasn't mentioned, but was instrumental in him not getting the jersey, was that he was trying to win the stage too, so instead of getting on the front and riding hard for the finish, he was messing about trying to have his cake and eat it.
+1.. See Vockler..

Meanwhile, this analysis is interesting; a comparison of the ascent times of Luz Ardiden in 2003 and yesterday.
