Went on the Gin Ramble linked to earlier in the thread. It was ace (though my memory of the last couple of hours is a little hazy..!)
Anyway, just came across this write-up:

Diffords Guide is always good for discovering new bottles...

I have a bottle of the Adnams First Rate and their Copper House, and they're both lovely.
Caorunn is also very nice (i have a bottle of that too...); it should be had with ice, tonic and a slice or two of red apple instead of lime.
Finally, although Diffords doesn't rate it that highly, I absolutely love Gabriel Boudier Saffron Gin. With a couple of slices of line and a slug of Fever Tree, it's perfect.

Just went into Fortnums and came out with a bottle of small batch Caorunn Scottish gin made with scottish botanicals such as heather and bog myrtle.

I have a bottle of that.
Lovely with slices of red apple.

Got home and decided to have gin instead of dinner. Was a good idea, this stuff is pretty good.

Last week I bought a bottle of Boodles. Think it was about £28. Cue friends round for a film on Friday and now I no longer have any Boodles left. Thoroughly enjoyed it but don't really see it as something I'll buy regularly. Blackwoods is still one of my favourites and with the price Tesco sells it at it's hard to pass up.

What's better than a hot honey and lemon drink for curing a sore throat?
A hot honey and lemon drink with a double measure of gin in it. Excellent.

Just added some cardamom bitters to a sapphire and tonic. It's brilliant, try it!

Bought a bottle of Gabriel Boudier Saffron Gin from Luxembourg for under 10 Euros. Tried it last night with cheap tonic, and lots of ice. Delicious. Interested to try it with better tonic and orange as seems to be recommended online.

Christmas was great, my flatmate bought me a small bottle of London Dry Gin from Clapham, tastes like Liquorice and my dad bought me a bottle of Hendricks. I have been mixing the Hendricks with a violet and rose liquor.

Double measure, three ice cubes, 1 single serve bottle of Fever Tree & a slice of lime. It's lovely.

If you haven't tried this yet, I'd highly recommend it:
I usually drink Hendricks (although I do like Bombay and Sipsmiths) and thoroughly enjoyed The Botanist.

^ Hmmm, think I might pass...
(Sorry, very childish, I actually really like the look of it.)

I live on Maltby Street market, next to the Ropewalk market. There is a gin bar there that serves Little Bird gin as distilled in Peckham.
It is delicious!
Jensen gin also has their distillery on Maltby Street, but I haven't yet had the time to visit.
Anybody tried it?
Well, 2 weeks later and that bottle of Plymouth is done and dusted. Really enjoyed. 10/10, would drink again.
I'm now making my way through some Beefeater, which was a cracking 13 quid in Sainsburys.
A very different taste to the others ive tried. Can notice the citrus big time. Wasnt too sure about it at first but half way through the bottle it has certainly grown on me. Seems to taste better with Schweppes than Fever Tree for some reason. Bonus. Means my supply of Fever Tree will last longer :-)
