I like a nice double gin, not overly fussed on brand, lime cordial and soda water. Until I fall over.

Hendricks is the best Gin in the world ever, I even know that and Im teetotal
ask Jacqui she knows too.
p.s I like riding past the Old Kent Road Gin Palace it looks ACE! -

Well, one of the great pluses of a decent night on the G+T for me anyway, is that it's absolutely impossible to get a hangover. Get in!

If you find yourself in Plymouth, the gin distillery is well worth a looksee. Nice bar upstairs, too.
Also: Plymouth navy-strength gin is the best, even if others have better marketing.
Pink gins all round. (Apart from hippy, who can have a pink shirt)

Aah-yes. Not quite so good for hangover avoidance. In or out though?

Hendricks or Tanqueray no.10 - anything else isn't worth it.
Fever Tree tonic - the best.
Anything else is pointless. If all else fails then Bombay Sapphire may suffice but it all depends on the occasion. Never, ever drink Gordons - it's mouthwash.

There is some kind of Hendricks promotion going on on Clerkenwell Road in the old service station thing near Britton St.

In the middle of making my own gin at the moment, going for a London style heavy infused flavour. To be honest it tastes a little rough, should improve with age though. Massive fan of Hendricks, and kind of have a secret love of Beef Eater.

I like a sneaky Beefeater too - bit sweeter than Gordon's.
I do like Bombay Sapphire too, but it has to be Hendricks. Terrifyingly moreish!

Agree on hendricks, and love making a G+T from it with a wedge of cucumber instead of lime.
It's the tits.

I usually just got for a thing slice of cucumber. My supply of Hendricks is almost dry though and I'm not sure what to replace it with. It'll likely be another bottle of Hendricks and some of this Fever Tree tonic water to replace the Schweppes.

Christ, I could sink a couple of rounds of triple G & T's with 'cumber right now!

Would absolutely love to join you in that GL.
Oh wells.

I'll raise an imaginary glass to that, master Mashton!
Pip pip!

Triples? Is there much to be gained from increasing the gin:tonic ratio to those heights?

I've been mortalled on this evil brew before now... -

Yes. Inebriation.

It makes the drink much, much dryer. You actually taste the gin, rather than a load of fizz.

Mahon gin is amazing. Has to be drunk with bitter lemon to make Pomada though. Amazing stuff. Got a few friends in Mallorca who live of this stuff.
-
• #24
Have you been to the distillery?
They used to give away free samples - chocolate gin, mint gin, melon gin, chilli gin, etc.
I came away fucked off my noggin.

Xoriguer is the tits. Pomada, fresh lemonade with Gin, aaaaah.
What's yer favourite? I'm a bit of a floating drinker between Hendrick's, Bombay, Tanqueraaaay! and Plymouth. Also make a cracking sloe at home (not from scratch).
On for some new taste experiences - post 'em up!
