I don't have a problem with Dinos playing a game two days after the deadline. As long as they have been actively trying to schedule it.

Degeneration top of the league!

There was a lot of talk this year that we will take it seriously and force forfeits. There's even a committee. If they can play with a sub within time, that's what they should do, imo.

<--- sub.

I'll vouch for Matt, he's definitely a sub.

Fair enough, i guess we could actually try to enforce the forfeits this year.

Aidan, you on for Sunday then? I actually kind of agree, once it slides a little... it slides a lot.
(Is it just me or are the fixture releases and dates all messed up on the league site?)

We've been trying to arrange a date but due to illness and injuries we havnt been possible... we have now got a confirmed date.
If we'd already over run the deadline and were just not trying to sort it out then I would understand poeple would want to force a forefit - we would like to play each other with our proper line-ups as any teams would.
We have arranged this date ahead of the expiration date asking that people understand the situation and make an allowence.I personally think this is a fair request especially seems as were stating the reasons and putting a date on it prior Sunday. I would hope the rest of the league would be supportive. We play polo to play polo and have fun, I'm all for structure but I think it would be a shame if it was imposed blindly on dates. Yes we did talk about being more enforcive but where do we draw the line between enforcing things to make a point and supporting the comunity and players that are the league?

Phils in France this weekends and Adams got food poisening.
I really don't see why we can't hold it off for two days under the circumstances.Aidan, you on for Sunday then? I actually kind of agree, once it slides a little... it slides a lot.

I agree with Vidals point above, after all you have made a date now and everyone can make it.
Aidan, I reckon you should check with the forfeit committee if its okay...Hope so, as I have planned to come and watch on Tues :)

I agree but I think if theres a fair reason why a fixture could be held back and it was brought to this thread or the forefit committe in advance of the fixture expiring there's time for it to be considered.

True that, kind of like applying for a two day extension under extreme circumstances.
