Good day @ Newt again. I think all 3 games were hard, fast & fair. Shame that Degen couldn't get a single point from our 2, but thanks anyway to Cosmic & Nice Lunch. Thanks to my team mates, Chukker & Horatio for a great season of bike polo (the first season in which I have played on a team that actually completed all its fixtures), thanks to everyone that reffed & goal-reffed our fixtures (without whom there would not have been games) & thanks to all the players on all the teams that we played.

Looking forward to a great summer of tournaments, and next season's league.

Awesome games yesterday. Not the greatest results but at least we showed up and played. Well done, team! Feels good to be done League 3 (three years!). I'm surprisingly sore today for having only played 6 games and a couple of throw-ins. Maybe we should have taken longer breaks in between games. Or maybe it was riding home on 28-22 with a perma-brake. Or maybe it was the wheelie.

John I think there's already three or four games happening at Newington in the middle bracket on Thursday evening, dont know if it would be possible to squeeze another one in there (unless the second court was empty).

edit - yes Dinos, L'Quiche and Rusty Rims are playing games on Thursday.

I can get to Newington for 7pm on a Thursday. Maybe it might be possible to get our game in? I dont think there's any organised football gremlins there on a Thurs evening. I'll take it to PMs.

The polo was fast and clean and a joy to watch. Bad luck to Degenerates who kept getting beaten by a small margin.

There were a lot of kids playing football last thursday when we had La'lo (ladies polo). We had to wait for a bit and then ask to use half a court (smallest polo court in the world?) after a while.
Might be an idea to get there early if we can? Although I guess kids get there straight after school.
