• ok

  • Newington gets my vote.

  • ok, chukker, can i assume you will email everyone?

  • Im sorry B the gentlemans' bracket is purely merit / skill based. I am afraid you failed to meet the criteria needed for admission.

Sorry Alexis, punkture is nothing but a gentleman - he apologised every single time he t-boned at speed into someone else at that league game last Thursday
    :-)

  • ok, chukker, can i assume you will email everyone?

    At least 100 times.

  • To rest of top playoff teams, seeing as none of you can play COSMIC this week (unless one of you now can this Thursday), who can play us either next Monday or Tuesday at Newington please?

    I'm then away from 23rd March - 3rd April.

  • Dogma vs sick zombie

    Tomorrow at mitch, probably 7.30-8

    Refs required please

  • I'll be there from around 6.30pm (I imagine Prav will be too) if anyone wants some pick up*

    *pending footballers

  • Any news from Chukker on what time and where we (La Schmoove/ Spring Break/ Degeneration) are playing on sunday?

  • Dogma vs sick zombie

    Tomorrow at mitch, probably 7.30-8

    Refs required please

I can ref, but only from 8.

  • Thanks Bill

  • Whistle & stopwatch anyone?

  • Degeneration/Spring Break/La Schmoove... "Battle of the Beasts".

What do you reckon: 11am Sunday? Newington? (Means we finish by 1pm for any throw-in folks?)

  • Thats fine with me

  • Sure.

  • nice one Bill, also some goal refs would be nice?

  • I can come by at 8 to goal ref I think?

  • yesssss thanks donkey!

  • I've been meaning to come watch a game for ages and thought the playoffs this Sunday would probably be a good one event to check out.

I am however completely new to this polo malarky and have no idea where the pitch is in Newington and can't find details on the forum, could someone post the address?

  • Cheers

  • Bottom playoff group, anyone want to play Pesky Skids Sunday morning, NE.

  • Dogma or Pie vs Zombie

0-0 Zombie controlled this game from start to finish, with Dogma barely able to break out of their own D, never mind half. Somehow 10 minutes of possession didn't turn into goals

0-5 Hassan 1', Gabes 2'10", Eggpie OG 3'10", Hassan 3'20", Max 4"30. In this game Zombie scored almost every single time they got the ball in front of goal.

1-3 Hassan 0'15", Eggpie 3'30", Hassan 7'15", Max 8'15". Hassan scored with an extraordinary air-shot to mark one of the quickest goals ever in London league polo, and another extraordinary looping goal later in the game. "2 flukes", said Prav, somewhat ungraciously.

A decisive overall win for the Undead.

  • cheers for reffing bill, much appreciated!
