bikehubstore.com is absolutely amazing in service. bought something 2h ago, it has a tracking number already.
also, he marked as low value for the customs on invoice so it will slip through the threshold.
not to mention good prices:) -

Shameless spam, anyone has a Chain Reaction code going spare? Cheers!

Nothing from Chain Reaction at the moment. Few retailers run discount codes while their sales are on.

Chain Reaction Cycles have a sale on all tyres and I'm down to a blue strip on my Marathon Pluses after 2 years, so I'm getting a pair of these:

Whoops!
How do they compare with Durano, Durano Plus and Marathon?
-
• #865
I have marathon duremes on the commuto x and they feel like hard work, this is compounded by the bike frequently being heavily laden. Can't speak about a comparison.
Re online discounts I often find that even when something is heavily marked down it is still worth checking other retailers. This goes for wiggle, chainreaction or bossman's least favourite vendor, caveat emptor always applies.

Supremes are (from the look of it) faster rolling than dupremes.
I have used Marathon, plus and city. I went with supremes for thicker, faster rolling and light tyre, I didn't have money or patience for Grand bois or jack brown.
I am pretty happy with them. I run them on winter bike (32c) and missus uses themon her bike too (28c) both have done close to 1000 miles in London and no punctures etc.
I run Ultremo DD on fast bike, ofcourse its faster rolling tyre (horses for courses) but supremes arent dull compared to it. But defiantly faster rolling than big apples 2.2" ;)
I paid around £28 each from bike discount dot de

Oops! Sorry dude. You could probably call them and ask to cancel the order if you just made it today. And then share one of these 4 meals with me ;)

I picked up a pair of these recently. Lovely tires. Thought I wouldn't like the reflective strip, but it looks better than I thought. Also, safety first. Nice to have some side visibility during dark winter commutes.

CRC has a free return service through Collect Plus, so if they dont cancel your order, just return it when they arrive.

Well they packed it almost immediately.
Chain Reaction offer an awesome service the few times you'd hope they wouldn't.
To be honest, I'll just keep them now. I ordered them because I discovered that rear is in a pretty bad state and was down to the colour strip, so if they're going to turn up tomorrow I should quit complaining and just put them on the bike already.

Thanks for the heads up.
I use the 25mm of these for commuting and really like them. Much smoother rolling than the previous gatorskins and definitely more grip. Not sure about puncture resistance, but time will tell.
Just bought some red 23mm ones for the Sunday best.

I think I might be returning part of Friday night's Wiggle order :-/
Annoyingly, I also placed an OO/PX order on Friday and I'd prefer to only have one argument with delivery services per month...
