Has anyone experience of Koo Bikes (www.koo-bikes.com)? Their website has my fraud senses tingling a bit, but they appear to be the only UK stockist of something I'd like.

Really looks like a scam site.
No support page, no contact address. In the T&Cs it lists a generic address in Plymouth, at the same address Google tells me there is also http://www.cogs-bikes.com/ but they too look dodgy as hell.
I'd steer clear.

Thanks. The lack of a contact address was what made me think it was dodgy.

Looks like someone making the jump from being an eBay seller based in tge spare room of mum's house to an online retailer.

If they have the item in the eBay store then at least you have an added layer of protection. -

I bought a stem from their eBay shop and received it very quickly with no issues.

i also got some pads from koo bikes via ebay. They were quite good as i stupidly gave them my old address. They basically sent a replacement to my new one were very quick about it

I've had good experiences with SportsPursuit. They do pop-up sales for pretty much anything sports related but have recently done several cycling gear ones.
Pros: The sales tend to be pretty good value (I still do the google double check though), the only time I had a problem they were quick to sort it out and pleasant to deal with.
Cons: Usually a two week odd delivery time. In fairness they are up-front about this and I'm pretty sure it's their business model or something, but don't order if you are in a rush.
Currently they have Helly Hansen base layers, SRAM Cassettes, Catlike accessories, Vaude Cycle clothing, Niterider Cycling lights and running/snowboarding gear sales as well.
*Cough cough if you sign up using this link then I get money off my next purchase. *

no black ones in stock

Already plenty of black on my bike, I'm getting a red one

80p more from sigma

but not in stock

• #718
why the fuck these K edge mounts are so expensive!?
I got my edge 200 for £70, I cannot justify a £35 mount for it.
-
• #719
They are expensive because they are machined from billets in the USA. If you don't like it, buy the Garmin "Out-Front" mount for £30 or Kingswan's 3D printed one for £25.

Got mine on pre-order with sigma.
Bought a bit from them recently, have been outpricing quite a few big names. Also got these bargain white leg warmers for winter. Got the last smalls.

^ Sounds like a deal.

I keep bulk-buying innertubes, but no puncturing.
I have loads left from last year still.
Just buy better tyres.
-
• #724
^ I do the same, and I sell them onto people in need in the office, at the price I got them for of course. Unlike one time I was in need of an inner tube and a "friend" sold 1 to me for £7. I was in the middle of nowhere near a bike shop and both spare tubes got problems with the valve.... typical. :-(

Should probably mention Evans is doing a 20% discount on clothing, components and accessories. Probably better than price match on certain stuff.

Mavic HC Bib shorts now £74.99 at Evans:

I bought these elsewhere a few weeks back despite the model above being the same price in my LBS, because I liked the ones with red and white on. Luckily that ridiculous decision didn't backfire, because
my gooch and arse have never been happierthey're really comfortable and still have the same gel pad in as the model above.
