I got those specialized insoles + bike fit + told how to ride a bike properly = bye bye knee pain. Best £25 I have spent in a long time...

£95 for Sidas. One of the best purchases ever. My last pair lasted 5 years which is eff-all per year for no foot or knee pain.

And we have a winner!
Which Sidas did you have? Did a fitter recommend?

I had my first pair done at Cycle Fit. Most recent ones were done at Cadence.

All these.
Hoping that these spesh ones do the trick. I get v painful balls of my feet after 50-70 miles depending on thickness of socks. Putting it down to 2 things:
Padding, naturally
Lack of arch support (I have high arches) forcing increased weight on to balls (euph intended)If these don't work, I'll look at other (more expensive) options. I figure it has got to be worth it to reduce the pain (in my balls).

Did you get the foot shims as well? Using those is what normally cracks it for most people with the Spesh footbeds. Have a look at the Andy Pruitt method for determining which way to shim (+/-)

Ritchey Classic Curve Road Silver Bars
Plus an addition to tool box
Hope this comes handy next time & does a better job than my adjustable wrench

How does shopping on the intermet help independent shops?
Amazon doesn't pay Corp tax. Anyone know whether CR and Wiggle do?

Going to try some of these:

A couple of amazon germany links. Moar waters and a jooky looking iphone mount that is hopefully rain resistant for this beautiful Berlin weather. The same model in us amazon reviews get rated high. In german it is all "not waterproof, will fall apart, shit sound from headphone jack". We shall see.

I still don't quite believe that German Amazon works with the affiliate links, but nobody told me any different.
Velocio, let me know if you get fully rich from my extensive purchases.

Cheapest waterproof overshoes I can find on eBay... In the hope that buying them helps me find one of the two pairs floating around in my room! -

It totally doesn't, but my lbs isn't open at 2am, which is when I do most of my shopping.

URL shorteners don't help the forum, because it can't see that they point to affiliated sites and rewrite the target URL to something which lets the target site see that the sale originated from LFGSS
