Now you've done it. I posted a dog on this thread once and Gaz had a massive sense of humour failure and PM lectures were delivered and all sorts.
What the bloody hell do you think this is?

Are the people you live with really that untrustworthy?
IMO it was a bit selfish leaving the DS pedal on... someone could have easily knocked their shin when bushing their teeth ;)

hehe, just me and my other half there

Even worse then.

am surprised someone did not break in and steal your sink
would have left that pile of shite behind though
they could have stolen the wheels and light - bit of an epic murtle failing to demonstrate how to lock a bike
scoble would surely agree

I favour the Dutch method myself.
I thought about how you could do this in london on the massive street lights, involving a a length of climbing rope over the top, tied to frame, then winch bike up, but can't work out how to actually secure it there...

They don't, half the bike in the 'Dam is unlocked.

I've seen this bike locked up regularly at Tottenham Hale station and locked well; two good locks round both rims, the frame and the saddle.
Sadly, it looked like this today.

Evil heartless bastards! Right in the bus stand too? Wreck someone's week for some hubs and disks.
-

I was dumbfounded when I saw it. It's depressing.
Was is spite? -

attempted from the look of it.
Least he still got his bike which is saying something, MTB are heavily targeted since everyone want MTB.
Let hope he'll repair it soon rather than leaving it alone.

Attempted to do what Ed? Looks like they went in for disks and hubs? It actually looks like a "try as you might we'll fuck you somehow" type effort. Someone did it to mine in the locked yard outside my flat. I locked it like a good'n so some little cnut snipped through everything he could for giggles... chain, cables etc. Didn't take anything just wrecked my day. I actually had a bit of a tear as it was so unnecessary.
Not to rub salt, but whilst we're on the 'How To Lock Your Bike Thread', wouldn't this have been a better example of security if one of those locks was run round a stouter section of railing than that?

It's so sad. I think I'll leave a note to offer to rebuild the wheels if he gets the hubs and spokes.
But what's to stop it happening again. This guy has locked up his bike properly and obviously has to leave it there as it's part of his commute.
What more do we have to do?! -

Time to speak to students for a tamper proof system that humanitarians might not agree with. I'm thinking a big jolt electricity to make you piss and shit yourself.

Was it actually in a bus stand Polka Dot? No cameras round there?
-
• #99
Yes, bus stand. Buses and drivers regularly there. And cab drivers. Will check CCTV angles tomorrow.

So people are just too fearful of raising the alarm when they see something sus for fear of confrontation.
Well that is an easy steal, the costly option is to bring a steak. Cheap option is to call the local council's animal control, telling them someone has abandoned their dangerous dog, and it's not muzzled, and it doesn't have a collar.
