  • I've got better things to do :)

  • such as....moan like a granny ;)

  • Ok...

Could we start a new list please?
I have no idea about who has or has not had a tool.

My number is within this post (a few times) and if you would like to get a tool from me please call. I am in and around the whitechapel/liverpool st/bricklane area all day everyday!

    Just call me!

  • Woo hoo!

  • what ratio are you running Mr.Pancake in first instance than after change?
Just trying to judge what I want vs. what I see others with.

    It's a medium gear... Started with a 48x18 then changed to 48x19.

    Usually it's 48x18

  • ah right! For MTB 1:2 used to be the target, so a 32t 16t would be ideal for plodding around normal stuff.
For road I assumed (sheldon strikes) 1:3 was the norm. but your 48/18 comes out more like 1:2.55-2.66 sort of ratio. Guess thats probably more sensbile as i'll be commuting up that reet big hill from river bank to muswell hill :/

  • I ride 49:17 and have to ride up muswell hill all the time since I live nearby. It's ok but I would like to try 48:18 to see how much easier would be. 49:17 is great for the rest of my commute to central london.

oh, yeah. love the tool. I used it to take off this pedal that was seized. nice touch to add the 15mm spanner in there.

Yup, give me a call on my number 0 (7) 545786648 in the morning and come and pick one up!

  • Just in case you missed this...

  • I wouldn't mind getting in on this too, how much would it be 2nd class recorded?

  • I picked mine up last night. It's great. The surface finish is fine, nothing worse than it would get after a few years in the toolbox. I tried it on 16-18t sprockets and 3 and 4 notch lockrings and it does the job. The 15mm spanner fits just fine too.

  • Picked mine up today, utterly fantastic. White KMC chain for the chainwhip though! Hipster bullshit.

I'm joking, it's a really nice tool. Don't try taking it into a club though, as my flatmate pointed out, you've never be able to explain what the fuck it is.

  • Great tool, got mine t'other day. More compact than I imagined too..

  • I have 20 of the cosmetically damaged LockWhip™ Tools left...

    List for the last 20?!

£10 each without a chain (easy to put your own on) or £12 with a chain.
