Price drops on the things that don't yet have any dibbers, a couple of bags, the crits and the snowboard.
Also have 3 brand new prince tennis rackets for a tenner each. Need to get rid before i leave, any interest and i'll get some details up. Thanks -

Argh, tempted by the board now. It's a tad too short (Plus I'm pretty heavy). And I haven't been on a board in years. But it'd hopefully give me the push to get out this season.
-
• #37
how heavy are you? i've ridden a 161 from 15 stone to 17 stone (heavy season) and never had a problem in powder-just lean back innit! pretty damn cheap too.
-
• #38
Plus its wide for my big feet, so should be fine! My mate is 6'4" and 16 stone and rides a 157, i'm prob gonna drop a size on my next board. How tall and heavy are you?
@Malaysian... XL for the T-shirt then is it?
-
• #39
6'2" and around the same weight....
The fact that the boots would probably fit (I'm a UK 12/US 13) is a big bonus...
-

I'm basically your build, maybe a shade under, but by the end of the season a shade over!
I'll throw in a new block of rub down wax too that has a ridiculous price tag of £11 on it!

I'd make it a large for the T cutting down at the moment. I'm gonna get a libtech rockered board for this winter, was thinking about a 164 for pure float in the powder, as I'm not really much of a park rat. But as I said have ridden a 161 wide in all conditions and been great.
it wouldn't cost you much less to rent for a week horatio, try the boots on and if they're a decent fit then it was meant to be?

you should consider tapered boards if you like hitting the powder... like the burton fish or Malolo. im sure other brands do tapered boards too. they make a worlds difference.
Im 6'2", 80 kilos and ride a 166 Malolo, the best setup ive ever had for powder. -
• #43
yeah I've heard good things about tapered boards and swallow tails etc... thing is for me I just love being able to ride switch whenI feel like it, or when in the tree lines, and buttering all over the shop etc. The Malolo looks good, but then the banana rocker on the lib tech boards is meant to be great in powder too. It's a shame there's no way of test riding them....
does the malolo only take those burton bindings as well?
ride flows me, although if I had a pure powder board I'd rather I have ratchets.
-
• #44
yeah the malolo has a moderate taper not quite as drastic as the fish so its pretty good on the piste too. im sure it takes flows and other bindings.
but im sure it will be really awkward to ride goofie on it.
I dont really ever ride goofie other than an odd quick switch...its got the three bolt mount but dont all binders have plates that suit burton boards. I used a flow on burton before i got the malolo.

I thought they all have that slider so you can have mega wide stance - does that take the 3 bolt plate? thought it was a new type of mount. Just read a write up on the lib tech board i was looking at and it said it has a really narrow stance - no good for me the wider the better.
decisions decisions.... know a local shop which has an atomic dreamraider they've had since 2006 that noone wants cause of the artwork i think (which i think is awesome) - that's directional may drop in and offer them £80 or summat. Give that a go as well and see if i like, i test rode a powderish board last season though and it really stiff , and felt well twitchy...

LAST FEW BITS
Need to shift 3 NOS tennis rackets before i leave, so £10 each. Suited to a female or smaller player, but with an RRP of nearer £100, for a tenner you can't really go wrong.
dibs on the cinelli crits if you'd post them for 45?
