  • Is that a yes?

  • i have a disc but suicide hub!

  • i need one more advice or ideas. normally i'm riding spd cleats where i can move my feet a bit.
for the track frame i decided to go for the look system, but realised, that they have 3 kind of shoe plates (red, gray and black). is it better to use the black one, where you can't move your feet???

  • I much prefer fixed cleats, some people do use float on the track, but most of the really serious trackie I know use fixed. Either will work, go with what you like*

*Float cleats might be more prone to unclipping.

  • Eingang, off topic but wanted to ask, when you rode to Barcelona it was from Germany?

  • the last 2 weeks in july

  • How was the route? Tough?

  • London to Barcelona, now your talking.

  • I did Paris to Blackpool last year, but geared. Was thinking of getting the eurostar over and cutting out england. Then a 2 week round trip. Doing it fixed though not wanting to pass through any mountain ranges...

Eingangs trip was 1500km if I remember correctly... fair play to him that is a long way fixed.

  • down the West coast of france, French bread and Brie, red wine and dozing on the beach...ahha :)

1514km in total, you're right, with a lot of hills in france and the pyrenees at the border. 60km tough up and down twisting road.

  • i'm still looking for the fsa carbon track crank, because i realised today, that this is the onliest crank set which fits the fuji track pro 2009 model, due to their failed planning of the chainstays. i tried different 165mm cranks with different bb lengths. 113mm was the minimum, where you have a chainline from nearly 50mm or something like that. stupid fuji cunts. sorry.

  • rode my somec today at the indoor track (5°) and it was awesome. i'll change the stem and the handlebar and the saddle and sell all the stuff for the fuji and the fuji itself, don't need it.
i'm on fire, next session next saturday
