I fancy some country pub, maybe head out earlswood way? I love the picture, suits me perfectly

Surely the Idea of beers is to get drunk? creating a social event away from cycling as such.
People have in the past travelled some way to get to Brum
We had some momentum going, and its totally understandable why the Prince of wales is no longer an acceptable place to go for beers for several reasons, But I think constantly moving pub has harmed what for a few months at least was a pretty good social event for those who don't meet at polo.
If you wanna go for a ride organise it in another thread.
Riding and socialising can be easily mixed ie, Food Ride, But they have died of too.
For me riding back down some dark country road pissed up in the dark is a big no no.
If you fancy being smashed to pieces by some newly liscensed Baseball cap wearing yoof in his Saxo pretending he is the new Colin Mc Rae carry on....
But I think most people will feel the same and vote with their feet, or not in this case.
The dog has all the bases covered, You can safely store your bike, central location etc etc seems reasonable enough to me, Its supposed to be the people that make the event not the location.

It's easy for me. Right near both stations, so I don't have to panic too much about making it back to the station for the last train etc.
