DO NOT BUY MAVIC!
The quality is nowhere near as good as others at this price point and the sizing is fucking odd.Love their hoops, hate their clothes.

also I've checked out Rapha, Assos etc. pricey n I don't know the quality of PI, Mavic, dhb etc.
although I always thought dhb was the bmxer hoffman... wtf does he know about bibs?

My santini ones fell apart
Skinz, Rapha and assos all work well.
I am not fussed about getting the current model, so tend to buy the previous seasons high spec ones when they are on sale.

Arent they Adidas rebranded ?
Also:
Budget = Nalini
mid range = Santini (pref twist gel pad), Giordana
High range = Castell
Vary high end = AssosI have some Nalini's I paid £12 for, which do a decent job on shorter rides. I also have some Castelli's with the Kiss+ pad, for longer rides. There is a world of difference after 1 hour though.

bit warming under clothing and around the £50-80 dorrah mark.
.Castelli did some semi-thermo bibs for Cervelo test team (also with my fav pad). They were on offer a while back. I was going to get some, to go some thermal legs and kness.

I've just bought a couple of pairs of Mavic shorts, at sale prices it must be said, and they seem fine to me. They fit well and, from a brief inspection, are well made. Maybe they are designed to fit skinny buggers? :P

f*ck it i'm getting the mavic's and will send em back if they're w*nk.
After my first 100k+ ride in my boardshorts (i ride in boardies every day, they're my hihg-vis!) I decided I need some gooch protection. Looking to get a pair of bib's that are god on long rides, bit warming under clothing and around the £50-80 dorrah mark.
Looking at the Mavic's
Spring at £65 http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=43961
Espoir at £50 http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=43962
which of these do you recommend, or do you recommend something entirely different?
Note: I did UTFS and I cannot find a recommended list.
