As soon as my replacement pair comes in I have a free pair of on-the-out black Specialized Riatas. They're not so far gone they won't give you a start on going clipless if you aren't already there.

I have a pair of black Sidi mtb Dragons that I'm looking to sell - they're a size 42 which equates to a normal woman's 7. Any interest let me know. RRP £200 so I'm probably looking for around £100.
Hmm...could be interested. I think Wicksie's SIDI's I tried on were a 42, even though I'm usually a 6. What colour are they?

Bum. Still, you did originally post this over a month ago, so fair do's!

Ooooh I bought some clipless pedals last month but haven't got around to/been too poor to find second-hand shoes for them yet, this could potentially be perfect timing! What size are you?

Poop!
I'm a size 4 :( curse my tiny pixie feet
-

ooh tempted, how do they come up? Sometimes I'm a 39, sometimes a 40. I guess they come up small though...
-
• #87
Scoot, it might be worth trying them. I'm somewhere between a 4 and 5 so I have shoes/boots in both. But in my Specialized Motodiva shoes, I needed a 39. My toes hit off the end of the 38s and I wouldn't say the 39s were particularly generous. They are lovely shoes though - comfortable although not sure I'd walk more than a mile or so in them. The ratchet on them is brilliant for getting them good and secure on the feet.

No ratchet on these, and I'd say they're spot on. I wear 8, 8.5 and I can't wear the 38s at ALL. PM me if you want to try them for the next ladies ride. The new ones showed up. : )

Yo! female sidi wearers...do you wear the ladies version or the regular blokes version?
-
• #91
Both. I've got the women's tri and road shoes (I forget which road shoes but they are blue and shiny) and men's mtb shoes and winter boots. I can't say I've noticed much difference. The boots feel a bit roomier but I assume that's because they're boots.

I got these today! Excited! Haven't tried them with the cleats yet so will report back when I've done some miles on em. They're so pretty though!

Ooh! Normal looking cycle shoes! Where did you get them fro
Scoot? -
• #94
My guess is alwaysriding.com, they are DZR's and they now do lady sizes.
-
• #95
Bang on clefty, although they're a women specific DZR model and they'd been out of stock for months but they just so happened to get two in stock of my size on the day I got my deposit back. BOOYAH! Ninety smackers well spent.
I pootled to work on them, they felt great, then I worked in them and they still felt great! The soles are stiff enough to notice when going up stairs and kneeling down but easy to walk around in. I have a feeling I'm going to be wearing these a lot. And when I say a lot I mean every day.

Scoot, you know the grey rubber band on the middle of your shoes? it's to hold the shoelaces so you don't have to wrap them round your ankles.
I also found the shoelaces to be quite crap as it never hold properly when I was using them, replaced them with a different one and it's a lots better.
if you find it's a little flexy, replacing the insoles with a stiffer one make a world of a difference.
glad to hear you liked them.

Oh, that's what it's for! I'll try them out tomorrow, thanks ed!

• #98
ooooh - those are nice!
I'm looking for some that have a bit less mesh than my Motodivas for the winter - came out of the gym the other day and started home and found my tooties feeling a little cold.
-
• #99
Winter road boots, ladies, what do you use? I've got narrow feets and Sidi don't make 'em for women.

I've only used Sidis and I wouldn't recommend them as they're not that warm and I don't think they've got that much life left in them after a couple of years (the mtb boots anyway). So I am no use whatsoever but I'm also interested in recommendations, if anyone has any.
I don't like the fact that if you wear proper clipless shoes then want to do anything other than cycle (like spend the whole day at work/college) you have to carry around another pair of shoes in your bag. I hate bulky bags and shoes are the worst!
