  • Yes. They should get up earlier, cycle to work with a mate, get on a bus or drive slowly

  • Stop being a dick.

  • Nice for the cyclists. And the drivers who are late for work? How chilled would they feel?
Well if a driver's late for something, they can just turn on their siren. Then everyone who has actually left home in sufficient time will know they should get out of the way.

  • Other side of the coin: there's space for an overtake but belligerence/lack of awareness from cyclists who decide they must ride 2+ abreast because their conversation is too important sometime leads to unnecessary conflict.

Surely 2 abreast is usually idea than single files as it create a shorter distance for the driver to overtake?

  • Methinks he's being a bit vague with primary, as it doesn't always necessary mean smack bang in the middle of the lane all the time.

  • Flip side ... the Bravery position:

    Sounds worth a try:

    (Which is is it?

    )

  • "This is how we wished it looked."

    Prospect Park in Brooklyn, yesterday.

  • You could say the same for pedestrians who would appear to be late for something and show a complete disregard for small woodland creatures.

  • You could say the same for woodland creatures who appear to be late for something and attempt to cadge a lift from fast-moving cyclists.

  • Good video.

Michael stopping in a yellow box at 2:52, though--a non-yellow junction might have been a better place to demonstrate that?

Top knot spotted at about 7:31. :)

I must admit I miss an emphasis on communication between drivers and riders.

    Otherwise, good work, very accessible.

  • Yes I agree that the communication thing could be better, and a couple of other little things like a bit more on how and why most cyclists don't ride in this manner and what drivers need to do near them.

But still this will reach about 350,000 drivers through drivinginstructor/tv network

  • stopping in yellow box when turning right is fine though...
