Mines 2 years old, still starts first pull and cuts well.

We have a Mountfield but the version with the Honda engine. Honda is a must.

Cheers everyone. Ended up with exactly this. The Mountfield self propelled Honda engined one. Good deal through John Lewis too. Forum comes up with excellent suggestions once again!

I need a lawnmower too. Tiny patch of grass though. Back garden of a victorian terrace maybe three by seven metres. Can't justify spending money on it. Morrison have a crapy flymo mower and strimmer for £70? Any reason i shouldn't just get that?

I got a cheapo electric mower from argos a couple of years ago. It's alright but the switch is a bit dodgy due to crappy design
