Does anyone own a Canyon?

Does anyone know if you can buy the canyon branded stem/handlebars?

Now I own two Canyons. Got a Roadlite 6.0 which will serve as my winter trainer. Kind of a bonkers time of the year to acquire one. I will add some Race Bkade Longs in the autumn. It is nowhere near as sumptuous or speedy a ride as my Ultimate CF 8.0, but it is pretty nippy nonetheless. And the aim was to have a winter bike that has components that were not too costly to maintain.

Same old tight clearances though. When I had mine I could barely get 25's and raceblades on it. They're nice bikes and would be ideal winter bikes if you could just get 28's and proper guards on them.

know the bikes will have been absolutely rinsed but the ex-pro bikes still look like they offer value. £3k for CF SLX w/dura-ace DI2 and top of the range cosmics is a deal isn't it?

Probably a total bargain even if drivetrain and bearings are wasted. Less so if the rims are.

Steerers cut right down and 140mm stems might cause a problem for most mamils.

Theres loads in my size to. I may not be the weight and speed of a Colombian mountain goat. But I am the height of one.

So bloody tempting.

I'd prefer a Campy EPS version with P2M cranks though.

The TT bikes are good value I think. A complete 7900 rig with wheels for €3750.

I like those . The 50 of Romain Felliu would fit. Don't need wheels, and could sell the cranks. So I get to keep my 165s with power meter. The FSA finishing kit is pretty ugly. But no real issue to swap them out.

It would involve breaking down and selling the BMC. But I'm kinda tempted.

The XS canyons look a decent fit.
If it was EPS not Di2. I'd have ordered one, and been half way though dismantling the BeeMC.

what's the tallest you reckon could get away w/an XS? kolobnev rides an XS at 5'9"

I took a 150mm off the ex- Eisel (Pinarello) bike for someone last year. truefax.

I'm pretty sold on the idea of a new road bike for next season. Or at least a partial upgrade. Common sense puts me on a small. But I currently have a 115mm head tube, with zero spacers, and a 2mm headset top cover.

I may have some added flex and core from playing rugby Hooker for so long. But essentially I'm just an ambitious MAMIL. Why cant I find a resonable length headtube....grrr.

Bikes like the Aeroroad bug me most. Save 3 wattts with an aero frame. Pay 30 watts riding in a uprised position.

Im looking to buy a canyon slx 7.0 and Im wavering between buying a medium and a large. I currently ride a 57 track frame with a 55.5 top tube and 90mm stem. Im worried the medium canyon will mean I'm relying on masses of seatpost and the large will be too long? alot of money to drop on a bike thats the wrong size. Can anyone help?

I think canyon still offers the 30 day testing period to make up your mind about the size. I did this for my v-drome before I realise it was too big for me. (though I like to ride around a small compact frameset) this is really up to your type of riding. You can also state when you buying off them that you can specify which stem length suits you best.
