Wanted: NJS 1/8 chain

USED Keirin Chains. Each chain used for about 3-4 races. In good used condition.

Well I put my new chain on and my bike is still making a creaking noise when I push down hard. So it wasn't the chain that was causing it. Although it is now much smoother and did need replacing anyhow.
Is it likely to be coming from the BB? When I take off the chain and spin the crank arms its very smooth so I figured not, but is it possible that there is a bb problem that is only noticeable under heavy load so that it still spins freely? I have checked the bike for cracks and Im pretty sure the frame is still 100%. Its a cheap shitty BB been on there less than a year

Checked the crank arms for cracks? Chainring bolts? Pedals tight?

Or a loose bottom bracket cup.

oh I didn't think to check the crank arms, will have a look later. Yeah the BB cups are tight as are the pedals and bolts

Might just be the chainring bolts :)

might be worth taking the cranks off, cleaning the b/b and inside the cranks, then re-fitting

I just replaced chainring, sprocket and chain this week and the bike has stopped making odd creaking noises.

Gebardt chainring, cheap sram chain (sounds a little clunky but fine) and cheap condor sprocket

49/20, so even softer more spinny for winter.

yeah I am going to give it a thorough going over at the weekend. It will soon by time for my winter gear 42x18, probably wait until the clocks go back, whenever that is
