  • Yeah. I bet. It's her time.

  • Youth Omnium round two was brilliant yesterday.
Some scorching racing especially from the likes of Welwyn girls team.
Learnt more than a thing or two just volunteering there.
Good show from the VCL and HH youth too fingers crossed for the weather at London round.

    devil
    16 lap scratch
and that popular last event the 40 lap points

  • That was so fun. Keirin was an 8 lap dernylead out, then two and a half flat out, up to 28 then POW.
Did alright in the others and got a placing in the last 40 lap scratch so happy days.
Cheers for towing me round on the 16 lap scratch Gordo

  • a video of mf in the keirin (he's the one in red)

  • And yeah, so you make friends with one of those trendy London* cyclist types, you keep saying 'you should try racing' and he keeps making excuses about being busy doing some made-up sport like orienteering, then gets all buddist about competition being an illusion, then finally starts racing, turns out to be really good at it and then - THEN - he joins a rival club! Bournemouth Arrow wanker.

*yeah, yeah, blackpool, luton, london all the same place.

  • ^haha excellent.

  • Videos now uploaded of the scratch race, keirin and elimination fro last tuesday, curtosey of Barrie Watkinson:

    http://zoom-gordo.blogspot.co.uk/

  • My chain is waaaay louder than Barries, njs innit
    Which scratch race ?
I only want to see the 16 lapper which I won,
    (thanks again Gordo)

  • Great video. Any open events planned for this summer? Not found anything on the BC website.

  • Colin isn't any open meets planned this season,
Suggest checking southerncycle coaching link mentioned upthread for sat mornings when quality race training is going on, or, just book the track with mates, thirty quid per hour for your sole use.

  • sunny eves racing

Kicked your ass in the points. And with Ellie busy in Woking, your league points tally should have improved so that you are now no longer second TO A GIRL.

  • Hukka pallo suomen poika ! Hyyva Jason, hyyva suomi!

  • whatever that means ^^
ah, so with a possible 9 weeks of racing, Im now top of Bs,
in theory someone who outperformed for every week thats left could go higher, or,
what did you say the prize for winning it would be?

  • Just joined, live seconds away from the velodrome, are there any regular single speed events on the track? Don't really have any experience on the track and I'd like to go along with some people who know what they're doing!

  • You wouldve made it till last three if you hadnt spent so much time on the front....looks like a great night....:-)

  • So who's Harold Cribb?
The 80 lap scratch race we did tonight in honour of him became a war of attrition.
Actually secretly liked enduring it, even without any decent placing.
Picked up a few points here and there, don't wanna get too many they might move me up : /

  • Smart riding from Pifko on the track tonight.
That 6man 10 lapper you won was class bit of energy you showed.
We will have you in track league mate :)
