So. How does it ride then? Can you go flat out without a gear restriction? What are the track records?

give us a few sessions to get a chance on these two...

if clubs want sole use of the centre for a session, providing they bring a coach that will vouch for their riders, they can book it according to normal availability, thus bypassing B.C.C. accreditation,

Any news on when the open racing meetings kick off? I can't find anything on the site.

there arent enough organisers/ commissaires in the area for it yet, or local track league.

there is a lot of settling in to be done first, expect this sort of stuff later/next year.

wanted to do the fast track accreditation, but will never be able to do weeknight sessions unfortunatley.

Will they be doing fast track accreditation on any weekend sessions for us Londoners?

I would love to come down a few times while HH is being resurfaced but mid-week is going to be next to impossible with work commitments. I must say -asking experienced track riders to attend three seperate accreditation sessions does seem a little excessive, especially for those already with acreditation from other tracks. Also, how will that work once open racing and track league begins?

Accreditation from Manchester covers the use of Newport. But with the accreditation I've got from Newport it doesn't cover Manchester. A bit stupid imo. There should be one standard accreditation.

I understand the need for each track to have it's own acreditaion, that makes sense, it's just having to come down three times to get it I don't get. Especially as it's midweek. I can justify taking one day's leave to head down but not three, that's eating into my loafing on the beach time...

Good question. One I shall have to verify.
if you read the accreditation details on the site, shows that 2 sessions of 2 hours would get you through it, at minimal cost. Anyone who is actually going to come and ride leagues and other events here wouldnt have a problem with that time investment.
I take the point about visiting groups, although as Oz's Post shows, there seems to be a disparity on this probably due to some organisations standpoint that I cant possibly comment on a public website.

sure that those of you involved in track cycling appreciate that the work that is done running/setting this up done is from a grass roots level.
there arent that many B.C officials about either,
even less without Rob.

Oh and the banking definitley looks steeper than HH, wider too.....the staights are very flat, it's a very steep transition form turns 2 and 4 onto straights, apparently turns 1 and 2 have less steep transitions...
