Shifters turned up so I got them on and cabled; closest shop to me only had white tape but I kind of like it! Still a few things to change but It'll do just fine for now

What are the advantages to having the spoke arrangement like that on the rear? Is it lighter? Stiffer?

They are SO good. I was planning on selling mine, as I've gone over to eggbeaters due to riding off road alot, buttttt.... they're so brilliant that they might just have to grow a pure road bike haha.
