As well as the above two pieces of bullshit, the LDTA are attempting to nobble the scheme by teaming up with Canary Wharf Group to potentially launch a Judicial Review. Ibikelondon has an article: http://ibikelondon.blogspot.co.uk/2015/01/as-ltda-goes-to-war-with-cyclists-we.html

Saw first one yesterday. Mild excitement. What are the chances of the Great South London Bight being filled in now?

Here's the updated one when they extended it to the SW:-

is it built yet?

The reason it's not made it to the SE yet, and why it probably won't for a while.

Is Haringey still getting the e-Boris Bikes?

I'll be tackling London's famous London on a Ken/Boris/Barclays/Santander bike today and tomorrow. (Mainly central and west.)
Is there anything I need to know? I've downloaded the app to make things easier.

Anyone who uses CS3 should have a read of this. They're proposing scrapping the segregation in one direction and putting people back in with the cars. I thought the tide was flowing just one way at the moment, but apparently not...

Ah, I've replied in the other thread.

Eh? I thought that they said in the new Cycling Strategy that they'd look at widening the Cable Street section.

I believe at one point it was even suggested that the road become a cycle-only road. But that seems to have gone by the wayside.

IMO the design (still) needs a rear rack.
Only one thing for it when these hit the streets... race the Old type vs New type!

I'd change the gearing and use one for work.

Bit of a dredge, but I have disappointed with the Boris Bike/Santander Bike changes recently. The new pricing of £1.60 a go means you can't just hop on and off as you bimble about and the electric bikes seem to be relatively poor quality compared to the existing bikes or even the lime bikes (which are way more expensive to be fair). I like the Lime bike setup of a single high gear + the motor to get you going so you don't have to deal with the motor cutting out when changing gears.
