Still waiting for your northern tour...

If we could put 3-4 gigs together over a long weekend, and thought there was a reasonable chance they wouldn't be empty (ie venues that have their own audience etc) we'd love to do it! Fiddler is from Hull actually and I've got links in Sheffield, maybe it could work. Any pub/venue recommendations gratefully received.

I missed Oliver promoting us previously so thanks for that, but yes we're playing at Walthamstow folk club tomorrow night if anyone fancies: https://walthamstowfolk.co.uk/
And putting on a gig at the ivy House on June 20th with the very excellent Rob Corcoran supporting if that was of interest: https://buytickets.at/theember/1220298

Ha, I've been away and not really on here much. Thank you for promoting and see you tomorrow if you're coming down.

Just a reminder for anyone folkily inclined or of an Americana persuasion, my band (the embers) are putting on a gig at SE London's finest pub on 20th June and it would be lovely to see a few bikes outside.
Cheers

In case anyone on the sussex/kent coast fancies some folky Americana, we're (the embers) playing Bexhill (thursday), Brighton (Friday), Lewes (Saturday) and Hastings (Sunday) this weekend.

I'm sure everyone here knows about the difficulties faced by the Harrison in raising the remainder of the back rent from the pandemic, but just in case. I don't know if the goal is manageable, and time is tight.
So far the pub has managed to pay off Ā£45,000 of its debt, with a further Ā£30,000 accounted for. However, the venue has now āexhausted all other optionsā and has been forced to turn to the public for help to raise between Ā£20,000 and Ā£24,000.

The Embers are playing at the Green Note on Saturday 16th. Def our favourite venue in London, always a fun night.
does your south coast tour include coming back to the square and compass in Dorset at all?
