It's often very hard to see pedestrians too but they don't tend to hang about in the road so much.

When jogging at night I clip a blinky light on my shorts
Every fucker from Copenhagen should learnt from this.

What's the logic of that?
Without lights... best place to get seen?
Middle of the lane in the driver's headlightsDon't cycle without lights though, it's illegal too
It should be added I cycled on the pavement by the a24... Which I would highly recommend not cycling on with no lights. Also the pavement is wide and mostly empty (just to put Clive's mind at ease).

Shoplifting is illegal as is murder. I would object to anyone attempting these activities on a bike or at all. Same could be said for incest.
Both shoplifting and murder would, I think, be much easier to commit on a bike than incest.

I think it's fine for kids- and adults who dress like Angus Young should be allowed
Fine on both counts??

Yesterday I undertook a stationary car at a roundabout and went over the bonnet of the car they had given way to. I lost the skin off my right temple and sustained a deep bruise to my knee and a badly sprained wrist. I wasn't wearing a helmet. The next morning I had ice cream and jam for breakfast. All of this is true.

To the idiot who tried to undercut me on Amherst Road, Hackney around 6.30pm despite myself having right of way going down to East's.
You then proceeded to RLJ across the junction onto Stoke newington high st

me:
this morning crossing Upper Thames St in front of a lone cyclist, dithering and neither going fast nor slow enough to let him pass comfortably, he calls out "helloooo!" slows almost to a stop, I mumble my apologies.

Wow - some fine trolling by Johnny back there.
Anyway, without getting into discussions about generally cycling on pavements responsibly or otherwise, Clive was, in my opinion, completely right to have a word about cycling on that particular bit of pavement. It is entirely inappropriate to cycle on the narrow pavement of Lombard street. Particularly during busy city lunchtimes and also as pointed out when there is a perfectly good contra flow cycle lane down there.
In other news the A3 was awash with mentalists going on the inside of buses and hgv's this morning as usual. Too many to call out - I just keep calm and carry on.

Chap runs a red light, nearly hitting an old lady. I yell, and catch up with him at the next red. Am presented with a tiny, tiny Indian chap in a Playmobil helmet.
"What was that?"
"Mate, you nearly hit that woman, the light was on red."
"Rules are meant to be broken. You don't know who you're dealing with. I've got connections. Serious connections. I'll knock you out."
"Mate."
"I'll fucking shoot you. And your fucking family."And he then ran a red to run away too. The big girl's blouse.
At that point I would have hit the cunt.

Where was this? A friend of mine saw an accident yesterday and sounds like it could have been you... If it was I'm sure she would like to know you are well as she seemed quite worried.

Every week I see at least one nodder dart up the inside of a left-turning bus or lorry. I honestly can't fathom what's going through their minds.
Take yourself back to the time when you were totally unaware of that danger.

Dulwich Village, near the picture gallery. Tell her I'm fine.
