  • "If I'm faster than you just let me go" Law of the (Surrey) jungle out there.

  • ^ which is funny because if he tapped his brake in either of these, even though he was the one 'in the right' neither would have been an issue at all, instead he nearly gets assaulted and ends up wedged in next to a bus to prove his point and get himself some more views.

  • I wonder if he has considered cycle training.

  • Emotional guy.
Fwiw traffic on smaller two way carriageways frequently are forced to pass within 20cm between wingmirrors.
    Just something I've noticed/tested.

  • then rides down the pavement?

  • The Youtuber seems like a fairly comprehensive bell chief, based on those

  • Cock.

  • His voice is too plaintive, he should re-dub his altercations and use James Earl Jones' voice.

  • The guys whole youtube account is lolz

  • Rode 200m to the shops this morning and had three cars do that to me. I know I'm big but I'm not another car! Fine if one car tap another car's mirror but if you hit my bars I'm going to end up on the deck and if I end up on the deck I won't be happy and if I'm not happy driver soon won't be happy and we'll both end up having a shit day. Drivers you have brakes and your engine will go again after you use them..

  • "I am passionate about making cycling safe and fun for all. I'm a cycle instructor but also a campaigner for local road safety issues."

It does look as if he's a campaigner for 'local road safety issues' ... :)

  • Two opposing wing mirrors colliding at 30mph is just as bad as being tapped off at 30.
Not an ideal situation but glad your safe. If all roads were a minimum of 10m this just wouldn't happen.
Peds waiting at crossings, walking near kerbs can be even closer than 20cm to a 30mph wingmirror and yet theres no YouTube channels for those instances.

  • I've been cycling for years like many others and the words fun and safe don't come to mind when I've watched your videos,

  • What I mean is if 2 cars hit and break car I don't care so much as if wing mirror hits my levers and/or me causing me to crash. It doesn't matter what speed, all the clowns had to do was wait 5s for me to pass by. If I was in a car they would've waited.

This would be much less of an issue if we all weren't subsidising people's car parking on public roads. No private car parking space, no car. Simples.

  • I don't want any collisions, me or them.
Infrastructure is the issue is what I mean. Big wide American roads we need.
Some 2 way single carriages are only 6m wide. There simply isn't enough room.
There is no harm in being chill though, if theyre swinging back across in front theres no need at all.

You're right about parking. My street is a travesty. Barely enough room for one car cos of all dicks parked up.
Nightmare for the lady who gets picked up by ambulance every week.

  • This is on a bus route too. So many delays because two sides of the road are people's private cars parked up all day.

  • And cyclists block the road eh!!?
Just went outside and the street isn't even 5m across. An old Micra was kerb scraping just to avoid all the parked cars.
Its an epidemic. I'm only 27 and I've noticed just how many more cars the average street has. Size of em n all.
Don't you get gripped if you park in a bus lane? Or is t just "supposed to"
Edit: Reade route as lane :s

  • It's not a bus "lane" it's just a bus route, so these fuckers are parked all along it. Every time two buses meet there's a small traffic jam as they navigate all the parked shit.

  • Ye, I got there in the end.
    No food, no cognition.

  • I'm tempted to get an old van and plonk it in my street to use as cheap extra storage space. If you can't beat them ...

  • Some fucking div crashed into me today because he was going the wrong way up a one-way street.

I pulled out, and there was a parked car blocking my view of the one bit of road he was riding (the wrong way up).

I felt it was indeed time to call him out.

  • Its an epidemic. I'm only 27 and I've noticed just how many more cars the average street has. Size of em n all.

Once you've noticed this it's very hard to un-notice. And it becomes utterly bizarre that other people haven't noticed it too.
