Up next on the waiting list is a German team, who mistakenly sent their registration mail to me (not Djee-djee), so I would like to let them in if no one can make it from UK?

tourney is good, good surface, a bit slippery but you only wail if you really push it, good size court a bit like Newington, maybe a bit more longer. KA goals, so really nice. Barriers really good, 1m tall and very sturdy as they use double planks of wood. The have free food and water, that with the normal prices of food, it is really nice

That was so much fun! It was brilliant to see so many friendly faces, hang out last night with cake and beer, and play fun games on a really nice court (slippy, but not Karlsruhe slippy).

3BP were the unexpected heroes to qualify through to the final 8. Rik & dt's team did some awesome 3-out plays and were fun to watch. Me, Jamal and B clicked and had some exciting games against great teams, winning the quarter final against Rakete in under 5 minutes, before being over-run 4-3 by a very hungry Shark Attack!. It's great to see Bambule's deserved win - all of the Berlin players have really improved, especially Oli.(Rik's intensive 4-day-a-week Slackers programme is really beginning to pay dividends).

3 out of the 4 semi-final teams were German; the UK effort amounted to a stylish no-show from the Sick Bouquets this morning, though Max, Snoops and Horatio were entertaining to watch, especially in their battle against Rik, Morgan & dt, which came down to a 1-second buzzer-beater from Morgan to win 4-3.

Fantastic tournament from Taka the fucking hero, who put this impressive event together with Jamal and minimal other help, never once looking flustered. Such a fun times with the big polo family.

1 team (Polo bears) missed their flight from Italy.

The other team (069ers) was the replacement of Chan's team.
So they were not 100% ready to come and couldn't organize themselves in the end.
