You'd wind up with a skew-wiff headtube/steerer angle though, wouldn't you? A bro-pro as you say.
-
• #978
i could just counter that with an ergo stem, get it back into hhsb territory
-
• #979
Stem isn't going to change your rake/trail.
-
• #980
Or your new proclivity for pedal strike
-
• #981
Pedal strike is for pussies. I'm a real man. Bro pro, bro.
-
• #982
Yeah bro, just smash the ground out of the way.
-
• #983
i think he might be joiking to prove MDCC wrong ? about the lo-pro dimensions and bits .... hopefully *crosses fingers *
-
• #984
At the end of the day, all of this is a bit pointless since the majority of us are riding these bikes on the streets of London. I'm not too offended if your bullhorns aren't positioned to match the equivalent drop position.
Bro-Pro FTW.
-
• #985
Ha ha, yeah I'm joking. I honestly have no idea what the definition of a lo pro is.
-
• #986
It looks just like this:
-
• #987
sick as fuck.
-
• #988
Even with risers I have the same drop from saddle>bars as saddle>drops on one of my other bikes, and more drop than most faux-pros.
-
• #989
700c/700c next to 700c/24"
and
-
• #990
bars only half taped, not a lo pro
edit: just realised one half is taped white, ok maybe it is a lo pro then.
edit: can't work out if it is taped or not.
-
• #991
also sans chain and cranks
it wasnt finished at time of photo -
• #992
and WHERE are your front brake pads
-
• #993
That's the new trend for brakless; no brakes, but keep the aesthetic of a nice brake caliper on the front.
-
• #994
its more aero
-
• #995
At any rate its a win
Repped700c/700c next to 700c/24"
-
• #996
I honestly have no idea what the definition of a lo pro is.
Then lookee here and be enlightened:
-
• #997
Ha ha, I know what one looks like, I meant I wouldn't be able to give a dictionary definition, although your definition seems pretty legit.
-
• #998
I know what one looks like, I meant I wouldn't be able to give a dictionary definition
Have you considered working for the UCI Technical Commission? You'd fit right in :-)
-
• #999
That photo makes things pretty clear i guess.
Does someone (read: Tester) know how frames made for 700c x 650c/24" are called?
I've heard people talk about Delta bikes once... -
• #1000
Lopros or funny bikes.
i'm going to put a 24" wheel and fork on my fuji track classic, I reckon that would bring the front down enough for bullhorns to replicate drops, therefore making it a bonfafide lo pro.
