  • Very nice! Could do with some period brake levers though ;)

  • levers at the same level as the seat. mid-pro? :-)

  • Looks like the bike is a long way from being fitted to the rider. Has superb stoppie potential though, with the brake levers so far in front of the axle.

  • It seems to need reiterating every few pages; if your 'fit triangle' changes between your drop bar TT bike and your Lo-pro, you're doing it wrong.

  • Problem Tester?

  • Thx mdcc, didn't know this drop-thing, will look at in on my lo pro :)

  • Whats that yellow/golden thing, a hirame?

  • Whats that yellow/golden thing, a hirame?

    Yup, this one:

It now has the 1986 Sheriff Star road hubs back on it

MDC, did you used to ride for Brighton Mitre? I seem to remember that being your username in a less sarcastic age? Or is their another Mitre club?

  • Yes, I was with Brighton Mitre from birth to 1993, and again from 2002 to 2009.

  • The Rourke lo-pro looks brilliant - c-record on there?

  • Initial build was C-Record headset, seatpost, brake calipers, chainset and hubs (LF 28h to Mach2 CD), DuraAce 7400 gear lever, RD and MF-7400 freewheel, Modolo Kronos brake levers, Cinelli 1A and LA84 bars, DuraAce PD-7401 'Look' type pedals. As shown, it has Arrospoks with Wolber Record 18 Piste tubulars, and quite possibly the freewheel stripped to just a 13/14/15 3-speed set up.

  • ... from birth to 1993...

    Wtf?.. )))))

Up to 2009, if you were riding round here, we may have crossed paths.

I love the older Mitre kits, tried to persuade their de-facto designer to bring it back. But, they love their euro look.

I was seldom in Sussex, hence the change of club.

  • Wtf?

    My dad's club, family membership.

  • Too British for my mind

  • B-)

  • asking for rust :p

  • we bathed together afterwards

  • You mean yourself and squoocher? I believe thats who you got your bike off of

  • rims full of water ^^^

  • I'd love to see a proper build of that - with that epic chainring and tiny wheelbase.

TT bikes like that always remind me of old group B rally cars for some reason, probably because they're equally wacky.
