  • Shit point, poorly made?

Meaning mine? It was like third hand when came to me.
The point was that it had french threaded bb, wich seemed to expensive to me to buy a VO one on that days, and that nobody wanted to extend the thread on that fork cause the chrome plating would fck up the threading tool (at least thats what i was told). Also, when looking fot a seat pin, in many stores told me that the ST diameter I needed didn't exist.

So I decided to get rid of it.

  • No targeted at the 2 tenths.

    Was only joking! B-)

    Or was I?

  • My Ti Burls lo-pro is now getting close enough to satisfactory to stick it here :

Does anyone know of a source for OS 31.8 clamp bars with a similar shape to those on this :

  • ahhhhhh rossin (holy grail theme)

  • Mine Lopro:

    Daccordi Pursuit 650/700 1984 Columbus Gilco/SLX

Cyfac custom Pursuit 700/700 Columbus SLX:

With Colnago fork & front brake:

And one I sold, too small unfortunately:

PottiƩ with fork M.Denti 650/700 tubing Excell:

I have a weakness for them

  • Who did you sell that mbk to?? put me in touch I want it from them!

  • Very pretty.

Not sure I would want to drop that much on a vintage build tho. :o/

  • BroPros from yesterday ride.

Excuse my bar+stem on my Orlowski. Was testing the stem...

  • Anyone riding these on track these days? Was turned away from Herne Hill with my Vitus on Saturday much to my dismay

  • Was it track legal?

  • Different sized wheels are not UCI legal.

  • Those rules are for competition, it's silly to enforce if you just wanna go for a quick spin ESPECIALLY on a shallow bank outdoor track.
Come to Australia where you can do pretty much whatever.

  • Was it track legal?

Yup. Ex Lithuanian track team (with forum heritage).

The bars were their biggest concern but they also played the UCI wheel size card afterwards

  • The bars a legitimate concern for a group session, although they let upsidedown ride his TT bike at Palmer Park

  • Out of interest, what would the concern over the bars be?

  • Well Herne hill specifies you need drops, I'm also not sure how they'd like you foot retention.

  • ^^bulls can cause some damage during a group crash.

  • I think the phrase used to me was not "damage" but "puncturing ribs"...

Might switch out bars next time and try my luck. And sling the straps and clips in the bag just in case...have ridden this before on there (albeit in a private session) and it doesn't even have track dropouts or the right BB height...maybe it just depends who you get on the day and whether they know / trust you?

  • Just acquired this.. Itll get some bits changed out for sure but its a fun hhsb for now

  • 4 reelz

  • Wow that's just begging for a period correct build!

  • ^^^ try finding period correct forks!
