This reminds me, I bought a cotton canvas jacket in the asos sale and I'm going to have a go at waxing it. Target is to get a waxed, waterproof/windproof coat for £30. I'll provide some updates when its under way.

First ride in to work with the helmet was rather chilly so I have ordered a cap to wear underneath

how much was the north face? I always go in there looking specifically for it and have never had any luck!

Crisp is definitely the word! I left home nice and early so the roads were deadly quiet as well

How was it? I was all geared up for a long ride and I decided against it at the last minute. Thought country roads might be a bit dodgy. I don't fancy coming off when it looks like its going to be mild later in the week anyway.

Still frosty when I left at 08.45 so took it a little cautiously for the first few corners, but my seven minute ride isn't exactly challenging, weather regardless!

It was really frosty when I left this morning, since my little off I've been taking things a lot more sensibly so thankfully didn't find out if it was slippery or not!

(I say sensibly, I still cracked 30mph down Ketts Hill this morning)

Got three KOM's on Strava this morning...granted they're only 2015 ones but I'll enjoy it whilst it lasts!!

In other news, riding with DOMS and a ridiculous headwind isn't much fun!

Keep experiencing a wobble in the Genesis headset. It's an FSA Intellaset and, after attempting to correct it a million times, I still can't figure out where it's coming from. I put the Olmo back together so I can get to/from work until I have time to bring it in to Dandy and I'm now really tempted to get it resprayed and transfer the group from the genesis. Steel is real!

Today I realised I missed riding fixed. Never thought I'd say that! The circumstantial 44x17 gearing I'm running on the olmo is actually great fun, tore along and whip skid my way home like a badass
