As Murts said i think the paintjob should incorporate some sort of visible element of stainless

LOL I won't!! Some like it some hate it.
As we try to make frames look different etc. this also means we or customers chose a few we don't like, good thing is doesn't take long to repaint them LOL
Thanks for the welcome Mechamorgan!

Whatever colour it ends up, I love it when the steel is masked off so some of it is visible in the finished paint job.
Like the raw lower half of this, but I'd also do your logo..

Leave everything stainless on the main triangle, except bands on the down and seat tube in black. Mask the Rourke lettering so that it is stainless and leave the red center for the "o". Then black for the rear triangle and forks (I take it they are carbon).
Is it going to be all 931? Or just the stays, tig welded to 953?

fluoro pink and neon yellow tartan.
like this, but different.

I will/can leave the back end stainless, we did leave the main frames tubes also in stainless but the trouble with this is the bottle bosses, we only silver solder them in now as we have had trouble with the rivet type and they look poor.
I can leave the Brian Rourke / Rourke stainless only trouble with that is there is a build up of paint primer, base coat colours then laquer so there is a definite edge. we did laquer our transfers onto the stainless but stone chips and water get to this after a while as the laquer doesn't grip to bare metal like it does to paint, we've tried many preps etc but none last long term -

Is it going to be traditional geo, or sloping? Carbon fork or steel?
Hi my name is Jason Rourke from Brian Rourke Cycles in Stoke on Trent.
We hand build all types of frames including road, track, single speed, cross, MTB every frame is built by myself in Staffordshire.
I shall soon be building a test frame for Reynolds Technology in Birmingham in the new 931 stainless. The bike will be built by us and used for testing and probably ridden a lot by my Dad Brian. and then go for more tests at Reynolds etc. It will probably be a geared road frame, but that is undecided yet.
My question is would lfgss members be interested in a competition to design the colour for it? Whoever wins (online poll?) will get their frame resprayed in the same colour free of charge by me.
If anyone is interested please post how would you like to run it etc.
