I'm interested in a pair of low profile silver wheels, too, but also not until payday. Will be Quando's with radial, all silver. Also thinking about a black 30mm machined rim on black Miche with black radial spokes to replace the 40mm unmachined that squeals like a b&%^h...

I'm really not sure Varno, it'll either be low pro rims on miche, cross spokes, all silver ... or yellow rims on quandos, crossed spokes. It'll probably be the latter, as the low pros I had in mind for a bike with some pretty nice rims anyway, the yellows I need for a frame I'm building up now.
As soon as I've made my mind up I'll let you know, sorry to be indecisive!
While I'm here, anyone got a recommendations on yellow tyres to match yellow rims? Something good for winter city riding!?!

Thanks mate, silly me!!!
I do have a rather stupid question though, what rims should I go for if I do use my brakes quite often? Never very aggressive or sudden braking. Or is it just a personal preference?

Make sure you get machined sidewalls on both rims if you're going to be braking on them. You can brake on unmachined but it's not good for the rims.
All posted.....
Enjoy.
