Anyone know how long Belk bags usually take to reply to email...bit worried the one I sent them on Tuesday has ended up in their junk mail folder or something.

@ctznsmith - both rupert and i have been away in berlin for the last week-ish, just got back on tuesday, so you should have a reply shortly.

@lester - our custom order time frame is generally about 6-8 weeks (moog is correct there), but we do have some bags, mostly simple slings and a simple backpack, in Push cycles (stoke newington), so maybe check those out if you're lookin for a bag quick-like.

Just a little update for you all.

Sad news is that Hassan will be leaving to go back home to the US at the end of August. If you want one of the current backpack designs, you need to get in touch with him asap at hassan@belkbags.com to see if he has time to make you one before he goes!

We have fulfilled a large shop order recently in Japan, so now we have that out of the way we are ready to take more custom orders! Sling bag orders should have a turn around of around 14 days, which is a record for us!

Are you still gonna carry on with Belk though once Hassan leaves? Be a shame to lose you from the bag world. :[

I think they're called Bmooses in North America.

Belk will live on in the UK. Hassan has said he might make bags again in the future, but for now he is going to have an awesome time travelling across America and finding a new home.

Thread from the dead... anyone know if Belk are still making bags? Their wordpress page is still online but doesn't look like its been updated in about 8 years. Thanks.

Afraid not. Not sure about Hassan, but I am noodling around on a sewing machine from time to time but not taking orders anymore.
