  • I hate these things; crappy handle, bad shape, too shallow, chip easily. We have about 100 in the cupboard.

Ikea. Crap. Difficult to carry. Too small to satisfy. (fnar)

  • Desks? Mugs? Pah!
Tomorrow I shall take a pic of the seething mess of polycups, bacon roll wrappers and other detritus that make up the dash of our work truck. Its not pretty, if it was mine it wouldn't be quite as manky...

To balance this filth me and Liz use these beauts at home

and +1 for those Ikea mugs being shite. I ended up charity shopping ours after about a month of scalded knuckles and spilt tea.

  • One for Max.

  • my mug, it holds 1l

  • Nice and clean, too.

  • I treat it right

  • Well i couldn't resist so here's my Brew Holder.

  • that's the place that burnt down isn't it?

    now that's irony

  • Top heavy mugs with little bases can get to fuck.

generally true; but technically (pedant mode) this is top heavy but it's my favourite home mug:

one of the jamie oliver things my mum thought chatter box was a great joke. Nice handle, good quality china, and nice curves to cradle at the bottom...perfect volume for me to.

  • It's got a car on it!! Burn him!!!!

  • classic cars that are no longer in production are ok.

  • My sister lives above a pub and works there to, so I have so many pint glasses.

but this is the one I use the most.

  • ^ not a mug

These are a rarity nowadays it seems.

  • Been stuck with Judgemental Buffy for a few months now...

    want

  • Holds a nice vat of tea.

It may well, but in all honesty, what is that mottled grey stuff in the picture?

  • hot chocolate?

  • It's got a car on it!! Burn him!!!!

I bought that exact mug for an old housemate for chrimbo. He was well into his old Minis.

  • It's all about the Nursing Times, which was apparently the UK's best selling nursing magazine 2002-2003.

I have no idea why this was in the cupboard at work as we have nothing to do with Nursing, but this has been my mug of choice for the last 3 and a half years. No-one else uses it, possibly because it looks shocking, but I like to think because they know it's mine!

  • Holds a pretty decent quantity, and has survived so far.
