That's not normal, is it? Sounds like Ms. Foster manages to draw attention to herself regardless of whether she's on a bike or not. Would love to know why.

1+ was thinking that, and I don't think being a women worsen that IMHO, my girlfriend rarely get any kind of abuse everyday, and when she does it's usually a compliment, however she's an excellent cyclist which also have something to do with it.

Perhaps the fact that she's of the female homo sapien and probably didn't work with the traffic properly got her a lots of abuse everyday.

Or maybe she does more miles in town than the "walk-my-fixie" crew mincing around the East End.
In any case, who cares.

It's a lot more common than you guys think, I don't think it has anything to do with the way I ride my bike when it happens to me just that I'm a woman on a bike.

Looks like it'll be a short blog-she's just had her bike nicked apparently. Stolen her wheels and a future career in e-publishing by the looks of things. God must have it in for her this month.

Will just have to go back to good old fashioned moaning to anyone who'll listen in the pub like the rest of us.

With the publicity she's apparently received, I can see a free bike making its way to her, some how or other.

It saddens me when someone takes such evident delight in a fellow cyclists misfortune.
