  • here's another opinion:

The "bob jackson" frame you sold me, isn't a bob jackson. It also had two considerable dents in it you didn't mention or show in the pics. When i emailed you to point this out you just replied "you're welcome". A couple of weeks after receiving it the forks sheared off from a hidden crack which had obviously been there a while (it was rusted on the inside). You're lucky i didn't smash my face in and and come after you with a fucking iron bar after that. Seriously.

All this on top of the fact that you haggled the price right up justifying it by including loads of extra crap i didn't want or need. You also put the wrong address on it making it two weeks late by the time it had been round the postal system for a fortnight.

In the interests of turning the other cheek and keeping the peace i decided not to post any of this publicly. But now you've added yourself to this list i think it's time.

Most definitely not a good trader.

    wac!

Added a few names from others on that fell off, and Dale (assuming he is still building wheels?) and James.

  • Not too sure whether it's Steelisreal or Steelisrael, but I am pretty sure he introduced himself as highlandpro's cousin or something and the story was that HLP first posted saying he had found some frames in his grandad's attic or something and then followed by Steel coming in and saying it's his and a whole lot of spin-doctoring bla.. bla.. bla..

Their bikes are nice and was pretty interested in an old Brooks which was pretty but dealing with the aforementioned two was not...

  • I doth my cap to the following, in alphabetical order
    Carl
    Hilary Stone
    Kingcutter
    Peter V
    Platini

All incredibly helpful and communicative sellers* in my experience.

    • Platini didn't even sell me something, he gave it to my for free. Extra kudos for that man
  • props +1 to Forms for the cigar group buy.

  • philosovril is a safe international seller, kept me updated, always returned messages and all that.

  • Minor moan, but can you put people in the list please or everyone will need to scroll through this whole thread which will get longer and longer. Also suggest while you do that +1 any you agree with?
