Are you including all of the old bit's you have taken off? If not it's only fair to discount the price of the original parts of of you £175 of add ons.
-
• #3
will you be prepared to split and post?
-
• #4
Does the price include the rather nice reflectors

Very good point and it wrecks me when ppl do this and use it as a justification to sell at an inflated price...
coughgorgiousbabybluefujitrackcough
.... but the OP's not actually increasing the price by £175, just saying that for a bike in vgc with extras the price they're offering is a good one. -

Langster Steel = Piece of shite
£480 = Rip off
-
• #14
Dov that's harsh. It's not a piece of shit, its a nice looking bike.
Sure, its cheap, but for £500 brand new, its a lot of style for the money. But, £480 is wayyyyyyyyy too high. The warranty normally covers the original owner,
so is useless to a second owner, even if it is within the first year of warranty.Price should never be more than £400, maybe even £300. Seriously.
-
• #15
well, make me an offer
-
• #16
It's not harsh. That bike is shite.
If the looks of a bike are how you purchase then give the chap £480.
FFs, the guy wants you to know he spent £3 on a chain-stay protector. What the fuck for? How slack does he run his chain?

That bike is shite.
why exactly?
I enjoyed it very much, also did London-Brighton on it. -
• #18
Dov's a track beast, this is a girls bike.
-
• #19
fair enough how about a £50 price drop?
-
• #20
I'd like to know why they're shit too?
Reynolds 520 tubing (don't know if its DB)... zen msger chainset... doesn't seem 'shit'. Have you ever ridden one?
Maybe its not worth the £500OTP, but it IMO allot of the singlespeed OTP's are a bit of a rip off, esp. when you compare them with the geared hybrids on offer, but I guess this comes down to economies of scale.

Amey witout being to harsh you need to be a bit flexable ,by saying you will not post and will not split you are cutting down the amount of people that this would appeal to you have put addons on to suit you maybe not other forum members want them on.

The reason i am not posting or splitting is I dont have experience with posting in UK and in terms of splitting, I dont know how to strip it to frame. I can take off wheels but thats it.
I have never posted anything in UK, if someone helps me with it I will do it. -
