Typps c u around matey, same to our new korean friends hopefully c you soon down at the south beers! with downside....to much stoping! i get to stop less while i commnute to work!! :P

east london gets a bit wierd at 3am. First some drunk guy trying to fight John Mac on brick lane, then just down the road some kid who looked 12 was shouting at a taxi in traffic and threw some McDonalds drink at it only to then be told off by the car full of rude boys sat in the car behind. Then a minute further down the road from there another car of rude boys pulled into the middle of the road, stopped and 4 of them stuck there heads out the window to shout stuff at me.
Enjoyed the night though, good ride at a good speed towards the end and we didn't even loose anyone. The boris bike TT was a laugh and all.

on the way home there was a VW bug stopped in the middle of green lanes must have hit a bump and the front wheel fell off. this was a new bug not the old ones.

BORIS BIKE TT - race results and (utterly objective) commentry.

1. Alf Garnet 32.3 transmuted first-up nerves into impressive performance.
   
2. Alex (Plastic Pedals) 46.8 kickstand issues, depsite pre-event practice.
   
3. Sumo 33.1 rolled jeans, quick rolling.
   
4. MiddleofNowhere 57.3 legs-akimbo buffonery from the Swaintoux Vet.
   
5. Tommy Mack 33.0 out of control hair, controlled cornering.
   
6. Party Paul 37.2 stop-watch issues took him off the boil then took scenic route via the steps.
   
7. Ham Sandwich 31.8 sussed the kickstand issue; a clean pair of heels.
   
8. Tibbs 36.4 should that saddle have been lower?
   
9. Tom K&e 1.06.1 he stumbles he deviates, he falls, he rocks.
   
10. MA3K 34.7 slow to mount, then laid it down.

Yo, was taking my brother out on a forum ride for the first time, we didn't make it to the start but that made it more of an adventure, linked up with the mass at Hammerhead Bridge, peeled off north of Tower Bridge for salt beef bagels and a couple of tins of Tango, where we saw some other Bridges dudes, then rolled home with Oliver.

The bike enjoyed the ride-by past it's old home of Holdsworth. I think it did anyway, it can't communicate any enjoyment it might have felt, being an inanimate object.

Yeah was alot of fun guys, bit gutted i couldnt have started in kew and had a pint in the pub (my mates lockring fell off about halfway from clapham to kew, and had hardly any tools!)
was ace to catch up though, and hanging out with beers and boris bike racing was definately a highlight, think ill get involved next time!
i presume John is the 'Ma5k' on the forum, and organised it? if so then cheers!

I have one - it ain't great but there were specific requests not to put them on youtube. Saying that it's so dark you can't see anyone, if said requesters are ok with it I'll post a vimeo up later tomorrow

• Great fun night out. Weather was brilliant, we missed the rain by about 1 hour only!
• Boris-Bike TT was bizarre/hilarious/weird, brilliant idea though!
• Bagels (pronounced beigels please) @ Brick La. great as usual - and much cheaper than local to me!
• Beer/whiskey made the night even better

Once again, a big cheers to John/MA3K for organising a great night's entertainment!

I spent most of the day and evening drunk and full of pie after starting early doors at the coach and horses bake off.
This ride was my first ever forum outing same time last year. I met some cool people back then, and now they're really dear friends. Because of this, I like the forum.
Pace was probably fine, but felt super slow as we kept stopping.... understandable with a bigger group, but with 60 odd, we could have gone a bit quicker.

Sounds like a legendary Bridges especially because of the Kenbikes TT... wicked!

I imagine there's 'no videos please' for an obvious reason...
