Pique is it not a bit small for you then? I am 5'9" or 5'10" and I was considering getting a size L

From their site:
5′1″ to 5′6″ S (48cm)
5′5″ to 5′10″ M (51cm)
5′9″ to 6′1″ L (54cm)
6′ to 6′4″ XL (57cm) -

You want a polo bike to be a little smaller than you normally ride. Just ask Brendan!

+1
a small size matters

Also bear in mind that the Pompino was designed for drop bars and has a pretty short top-tube compared to comparatively sized mountain bikes or hybrid bikes that are designed for flat bars.
I'm 6 ft 2", use an XL. A Large may be better for polo, but not significant enough to sell and re-buy.

yes but thats the point. give some a go and see what suits.

it's true, i love, love, love my bike on the court, it's a bit annoying to ride on the road sometimes, but thats not what its designed for. If the bike is really comfy on the street, it's probably a bit too big for the court in my onion.

i'm 6.3 and used the xl version. top tube is short enough and with a short stem you have enough reach

Layback seatpost to get plenty of weight on the rear axle for a nippy front end? :)
+1 on a smaller size for polo!

Alex's is green too, and so is my new one, it's going to get very confusing ;)

I am 5,6 and contemplating buying a medium pompino from the classifieds. Might be too large for polo usage though? Any advice?
thanks

Im pretty sure most people your size in london are playing on the small pomps rather than the medium, although it all comes down to personal preference I suppose.
-
• #74
i have a medium you can try out if you want, i find they come up pretty small. but im about 5"10 and have a medium with a layback seatpost

I am 5.11 and play on a medium.
I would suggest you get a small but as Tom points out its all personal preference.
Has anyone got an L or XL Pompino? I'd like to try one for size.
Otherwise what sizes do you have?
