It probably went into the moderation queue following your edit? It may have fulfilled one or more of the criteria for that. David should see it in due course and be able to reinstate it.

I accidentally ignored the components classifieds sub forum, now I don't have the option to unignore (only ignore again) and the threads don't show up in searches! Halp.

Ignore Manager at the bottom left of the page on your User CP Control Panel should have an 'Ignored Forums' option.
