I suspect it's the escaping... not enough.

PHP dynamically producing a string which it then passes through a couple of hundred regular expressions. It's not fun.

I've logged it and will look at it a little later.

Is there a way of having a thread load without the linkbacks being expanded? Some threads have so many linkbacks it's taking up almost a quarter of the page.

click the - in the top corner of the linkbacks panel? I think it's universal though.

Yeah that minimises it, but only temporarily. Next time you load the same page they're back. I'd like it so that they were minimised then you expand to view. Or just show the top 5 with the option to see more.

I'll change the default to hidden.

Who cares? I'm not sure hovercraft and planes should be the same... it starts to get abstract. We could merge the entire forum into one thread "stuff in the universe", but that would be silly. It's not as if there is confusion in the hovercraft thread or the planes one.
